The Athens Riviera Summit is endorsed by the Ministries of National Economy and Finance, Foreign Affairs, Development, Environment and Energy, Infrastructure and Transport, Tourism, Digital Governance, Interior, Shipping & Insular Policy, the Region of Attica, and the Bank of Greece.
The Summit’s themes encompass three distinct pillars that interconnect the local (Athens Riviera), national (Greek Economy), and international economic environments.
The Athens Riviera Summit 2024 will shine a spotlight on investments, major development projects, and opportunities within the Athens Riviera region, under the theme “The Athens Riviera as an international investment, development, and tourism hub: promoting momentum.”
By bringing together stakeholders, officials, international and domestic investors, corporate leaders, and local government representatives, the Summit fosters multilateral dialogue to forge productive consensus for the present and future of the Athens Riviera, with a specific emphasis on promoting sustainable development.
As the Athens Riviera evolves into a hub for significant investments, discussions will focus on key sectors along the coastal front, such as real estate, tourism, infrastructure, and the blue economy, showcasing the region’s development potential.
Under the thematic pillar “Navigating the Greek Economy: investment prospects, deals, development strategies,” business and investment leaders will underscore Greece’s role as a globally competitive investment and entrepreneurship center. They will map out major developments, challenges, and opportunities in key sectors of the Greek economy, emphasizing the importance of attracting sustainable foreign investments through partnerships, financial tools, and ongoing reforms.
The section on “International Economic Cooperation: deepening convergences” will facilitate exchanges of best practices and open dialogues among influential policymakers, top business executives, organizations, and investors from Greece and abroad. This section will focus on promoting convergences and deepening economic ties through initiatives in areas such as artificial intelligence, energy cooperation, and economic diplomacy.
