BrooqLy aspires to draw a new map for your nights out. See how you can add your own “pin”
Nikos Ioannou and Panos Lazaretos, co-founders of the new app brooqLy which was launched in Glyfada, explain the criteria by which the businesses participating in the network are selected, what services they provide to the public and the benefits we have as its members.

When we learned that a brand new app was created that will upgrade our nights out through the art of treating, our nocturnal hearts rejoiced. We can all agree that we have experienced some sort of deprivation syndrome, as a result of the pandemic. BrooqLy (available on android and iOS) allows us to offer treats remotely, to friends with whom we are connected on the platform by phone or to make new friends who are in the same bar having fun. “This is an app that is essentially social networking reinvented, which brings us in contact with people through the treat, either remotely or in the store (in shop)” says co-founder Nikos Ioannou before explaining exactly how it works for businesses that want to participate but also for each user individually.
“The app can be accessed by all food and entertainment businesses, gaining the opportunity to increase their turnover, through the online treats, creating a new “platform” of profitability, as well as to attract new customers in the physical store. In addition, brooqLy can offer targeted marketing to the public of interest of each store, while the “art” of treating through the app that reinvents social networking, opening new horizons for entrepreneurs of entertainment, as they increase their turnover through the store as well as “outside” the store with the remote treat”.
However, the benefits do not stop there, says Panos Lazaretos. The treats between the users and the fun moments they spend with their friends, partners and in general their own people and which they share on brooqLy, give great potential to the participating businesses. “As brooqLy grows globally, their business comes digitally, through the power of technology, in front of the eyes of “patrons” anywhere in the world. From Romania, where it already operates to the United States, Brazil, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Turkey, countries where the app will acquire a presence in the coming months”.
Now let’s go to the users to see what we gain. “At the same time, the services provided to the users are very important and which will be gradually developed, to cover the whole spectrum of entertainment. Our goal is for them to easily and immediately carry out all the procedures they need to enjoy their night out”.
The core of the “philosophy” of the app that is passed on to its services, is connecting people and bypassing all the “obstacles” that exist in the physical world, connecting them digitally. “In other words, they can offer a drink to the other “brooqLeys” who have just been spotted through the app and are in the same store. Through the treat they get to meet new friends, as the purpose is not technology to distance people from each other, but to bring them closer”. And what could be simpler and more beautiful than saying “cheers” first through brooqLy!
The service of offering a treat connects people who for whatever reason are many kilometers away from each other or whose schedule does not currently allow them to have fun with their friends at the same place. In this way, even for a while, they all meet together and raise their glasses.
“The goal is and will always be, communicating with our loved ones and meeting new people. Food and drink are always the occasion. And the easier it is to offer it to those you love, the more you enjoy the “art” of treating and connecting with the people you want, eliminating distances and all kinds of restrictions. We can all have fun like “brooqLeys”, giving and receiving treats because this is a practice we know well when we are with those we choose”.
