For more than 40 years, Rentoumis Architectural Constructions has managed to offer its signature in design and architecture to a number of properties built in the southern suburbs. The company was founded in 1981 by Tassos Rentoumis, after his return from Paris, where he studied architecture at the Ecola Speciale d’Architecture. Initially, he was focused on designing detached houses and mansions mainly in the southern suburbs, but since 1983 and until today, he has been active almost exclusively in the field of construction, with high-end residential complexes.
Properties with Rentoumis “signature” can be found in all the high-end areas of the beach front of the capital, including in Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni and Saronida.

The revival of investment interest in the last five years for the real estate sector in the capital, but especially on the beach front, thanks to the Ellinikon mega project, is more than obvious. “In recent years, we have seen an ever-increasing influx of investors, especially in the southern suburbs, specifically in Glyfada, Voula and Vouliagmeni, where we operate,” states Mr. Rentoumis, who adds that “as a company, we have never stopped constructions, not even in the period of the great crisis, when hardly anyone was building in our area”.

The clients of Rentoumis Architectural Constructions are Greeks, foreigners as well as expatriates. As the head of Construction points out, “in our clientele we have many Egyptians, but also Greeks from South Africa, Germany, United Kingdom, Canada, America. During the more than 40 years that our company has been building houses, we have provided residences to almost all nationalities, such as Russians, Chinese, Scandinavians, etc.”
A prediction for the Athenian Riviera
The Athenian Riviera is undoubtedly one of the hotspots of the future for the domestic real estate sector, since with the projects being implemented in Ellinikon, but also by leading developers, international hotel groups and investment funds, the landscape of the southern suburbs will change in the coming years impressively. “We believe that the future is bright regarding the constructions on the Athenian Riviera and of course the large investments in these areas will attract other investors in the future, as long as the current favorable tax regime (VAT exemption) is maintained, but also the quality and responsibility on our part”, concludes Tasos Rentoumis.
